For all of our classes, (unless otherwise stated) you should dress in comfortable workout clothes. Footwear specifications can be found on class description pages, as this will vary depending on the class you are taking.
You should always bring water to class with you. Any other equipment which is not provided by the studio will be found under your class page’s description.
Here at FUZE Movement Studio, we cater to people of all abilities. If you are just starting out, or are a seasoned dancer/yogi, you will be able to participate in our classes. Always notify your instructor if it is your first time in class so they can allow for modifications as needed.
We encourage all participants to take breaks as needed and ALWAYS drink water throughout your class. Even if you are not taking a “fitness” class, you will still be moving, and using your body’s natural resources so you will need to replenish.
We recommend taking the day off from class if you are feeling fatigued or if you are unwell. We have a very forgiving cancellation policy in the case of illness.
FUZE Movement Studio is definitely not your traditional dance/yoga studio. It is still a functioning photo studio as well as a place for movement. It was important to us that the studio feels like home to our community, you won’t find lockers or cubbies. That said, we have many places for you to place your belongings which will remain within your view at all times during class.
It is vital that you let your instructor know of any injuries or medical conditions ahead of class. While all participants sign a waiver when signing up for class, it is still extremely important to us that we do not cause harm to our patrons. If the teacher is aware of your condition, they can offer modifications to you so you can participate without aggravating your condition.
Yes, we have a set schedule, which you can find on our Schedule Page.
If there is a change to the schedule, we will contact participants ASAP before the start of class.
You are free to leave at any time during the class, but you will not be refunded for the class.
Current Health & Safety Guidelines
For more information about our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, please read the Q&A’s below.
Our schedule is currently significantly smaller to accommodate our Instructors and clients. We are still offering classes from Sunday through Friday and will be open to the public under current health and safety guidelines beginning Sunday, June 21st.
You should always bring water to class with you. Check your class description for footwear needs, as well as equipment needs. FUZE Movement Studio is currently not offering the use of shared equipment in the studio. Make sure to bring a yoga mat if it is needed for your class.
You are required under current health and safety guidelines to wear a mask when entering and exiting the studio. If at any time during your visit, you are within 6 feet of another member or Instructor, you are required to wear a mask. During your workout, as long as you maintain social distancing, masks are not mandatory but are encouraged when possible.
Due to current health and safety guidelines, we ask that you remain outside of the studio until your Instructor or the Studio Manager calls your class in. Upon entry, all clients (and Instructors) will have their temperature checked with a no-touch thermometer. Hand sanitizer will be provided and required by all clients upon entry (Instructors are required to wash with soap and water).
We have cut our class size down to 9 members. Each member will have their own 6′ square to move in. Your square will have an “X” marked in the center, which will be the starting point for the class. This way, if we move to the right, everyone moves to the right and maintains proper distance.
We are also offering online Virtual Classes for those who cannot be in the studio.
We ask that you refrain from coming to the studio if you or someone you have been in close contact with is ill. Whether it is COVID-19 or another illness, we would appreciate it if you stay home. During this time, our policy on cancellation will be taken on a case by case basis. While we ask that you cancel as early as possible due to our limited capacity, we understand that illness can come on quite suddenly and unexpectedly.
If you or someone you have been in close contact with has any of the following symptoms, please stay home:
- Fever
- Cough
- Chills
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Joint and Muscle Pain
Yes, we have a set schedule, which you can find on our Schedule Page.
If there is a change to the schedule, we will contact participants ASAP before the start of class.
Some of our classes are noticeably absent from our schedule. As you’ll see, we are offering a shorter evening schedule with just two classes instead of three. This is to accommodate cleaning the floors between classes, as well as avoiding having two classes worth of clients in the studio at any given time.
Some of our Instructors are also unable to return to the schedule at this time. As we are able, we will update our schedule with additional classes.
As noted above, we are keeping members outside until just before class begins. Upon entry, all persons (Clients and Instructors) will have their temperature taken. If it is 100 or above, they will be sent home.
After temperature checks, all members must use provided hand sanitizer. All Instructors must wash with soap and water.
When you enter the studio area, you will go to one of 9 squares. This will be your space to move in. All participants will begin on an “X” marked in the center of their square. This will keep everyone 6′ apart at all times during the class.
After class, we ask that you exit immediately to allow proper distancing.
Our Instructors or Studio Manager will clean the floors between each class.
There will be no shared equipment during classes. This means no borrowing yoga mats (so be sure to bring one!), no weights, and no work at the barre.
Bathrooms will also be cleaned after all morning and evening classes.
