We have been forced to contemplate A LOT in the last few days….

For purely selfish reasons, I want to move my body. I want to exercise and get out of the house. I want to stretch, sweat and dance…leaving all of my fears on the dance floor.

I want our doors to remain open because we are building something beautiful together. We are getting great feedback and developing our classes into something so unique and incredibly special.

Yes, we have small class sizes right now. We could potentially stay 6′ apartfor safety, not share equipment (meaning no work at the bar for Ballet classes, clients use own weights for sculpt, no borrowing of yoga mats, etc.) We can wipe down surfaces before and after classes. This is possible, of course.

But then I think of the closures happening not just locally, or nationally, but across the world. And I wonder if we can do better?  Can we think of a way to promote movement while not putting anyone at risk?

Complete social isolation is the ONLY solution to preventing the spread of this virus.  We have to be proactive and set a precedent for the safety we desire and request of our community.

It saddens us beyond belief to send this message.  We have been tracking the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely and feel that is morally irresponsible to keep the studio doors open at this time.  First and foremost, we are creating a special and unique little family; one that I will not risk the health and safety of.

Effective immediately FUZE Movement Studio will be temporarily close for 2 weeks.  We plan on opening doors again the first week of April. If it is necessary to change these dates, we will do so and update you all. If we have to extend the temporary shutdown of in-studio classes, we will share that information as soon as possible.

We are preparing for the unknown and planning for the unexpected as best we can.  Thank you for your support, patience and understanding as we adjust your accounts and amend the website to offer you services that will allow you to continue to be strong, healthy and fabulous!  Here is our plan of action:

  • All memberships and accounts are frozen effective immediately (meaning all payments will not be processed)
  • All class packages will be extended and expiration dates adjusted accordingly.
  • If you have scheduled a class, private lesson, party or event you will be removed without penalty.

We will be launching online dance and fitness classes for you in the next few days if all goes to plan.  Stay tuned and be patient as this is not an area of expertise, but we are passionate about making this work!

We will have many options for you, from free workouts and classes to paid personalized one-on-one sessions. If this is something you are interested in, please contact us at and we will keep you up to date on the launch of our newest programs.  The movement won’t stop! We cannot be limited by the physical walls that house our physical locations.

Our Instagram and Facebook groups will be featuring a variety of movement based challenges that will keep you moving and connected to our community.   Let’s dance, sweat and release stress together…separately. We got this!

We are offering rainchecks instead of refunds for the current month.  We are looking positively into the future and know you will be back into your movement groove before you know it.  Going forward, we ask that you please not cancel your memberships as the studio and dance family need your support to stay hopeful about our future.  Thank you for your love, support, and understanding. This movement family exists without the boundaries of the studio walls.

We are here for you.  In love and light!

Erika, Merit, and Scott
