It’s hard to believe it’s been over a week since our last class was held in-studio.  At the time of that class (Sleek Ballet Bootcamp™) we were still contemplating what the future held.  We were torn between keeping the doors open and the higher call for social distancing. Our loyal members hoped we would continue holding class, but understood that things were tenuous.

As you all know, caution won out and we have temporarily closed our doors.

To say we miss moving with you is an understatement.  Because it’s more than the movement.  Each time I entered FUZE Studios, a sensation of home mixed with excitement overcame me.  There was so much possibility in those walls that it just seeped out and became a living thing.  It was like seeing your new crush.  The rush of endorphins would flood my bloodstream and I would instantly be inspired to move.

We were so excited to release our new class schedule, offering you new offerings such as R&B Yoga, Disco Flow, Sculpt Fuzion, and more.  While we are living in uncertain times, and we aren’t sure when we will be able to offer these classes, we remain commited to providing our community a unique way to move.

You’ll see the last class we had in the studio above, Sleek Ballet Bootcamp™, taught by Erika Saw.  Make sure to turn your volume up all the way, as our acoustics worked against us for the sound!

Aside from creating content for our new YouTube Channel, we have another outlet for you.  Master Instructor Susan White is leading Buti™ Yoga classes over on The Official Buti™ websiteOur members and package holders get to “attend” these classes for free, so be sure to reach out for the password if that’s you!

The closure of our studio has left a void.  In each of us and in this community we are building.  As we were beginning to record workouts (and figure out camera placement and audio issues) the Shelter-In-Place orders came and suddenly it became that much harder to make things happen.  But as they say, the show must go on.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the logistics of social distancing, recording, and more.  Here at FUZE, we truly believe that movement is medicine, not just for our bodies, but for our mental health as well.  Especially in these times of uncertainty, we are in need of connection to our bodies and one another.

Aside from our YouTube channel, we are also holding our first LIVE class over on our Facebook Page this Wednesday evening.  It will be one of our most popular offerings: Heels with Erika Saw.  Be sure to like and follow our page to get notified when we go live!

This is the first step to getting you moving again, and we will keep you informed on our next steps.

We are here for you.  In love and light!

Erika, Merit, and Scott
